Dan ‌Johnson ‌is ‌a senior partner and founding attorney with the Berglund & Johnson Law Group. He specializes in handling cases involving serious personal injuries and wrongful death to individuals and families. Dan has devoted his practice to complex catastrophic injury cases, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, paralysis, burns, loss of limbs and wrongful death since co-founding the firm with David W. Berglund in 1982.

His practice has involved serious injury and wrongful death cases resulting from automobile accidents, truck accidents, defective products, construction accidents, train accidents, airplane crashes and other incidents resulting from the negligence or wrongful conduct of others. Dan's practice is based on diligent preparation, experienced representation and personal attention given to the individuals and families he serves.

Education

After receiving his Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University, Northridge, Dan attended the University of LaVerne Law School. He was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review and received his Juris Doctorate in 1976. Dan has continued his education by attending many post law school courses including a number of classes at USC Medical School.

Family & Leadership

Dan and his wife, Beth, are actively involved in Calvary Church in Westlake and have three sons – one of whom you’ll find right here at Berglund & Johnson. Dan has served as president of the Christian Legal Society, Los Angeles for two terms and has sat on the boards of local churches and many nonprofit organizations, including World Impact, Western Center for Law & Religious Freedom, Fellowship Of Christian Athletes, Center for Conflict Resolution, Salvation Army, and TLC Ministry.
